Summer nails
Orange on tanned skin, turquoise on feet, one lamp for both. Gel wraps do not lift in water, cure in 90 seconds, and you step straight into your sandals.
Hands
Orange is the summer colour with no competition on tanned skin — intense, full, no glitter. If it is too much on the whole nail, Orange–Purple Ombré is the warm gradient that falls a little differently on every finger. French Animal Print puts a classic french on some fingers and animal print on the rest, in the same set. And Coloured Glitter shifts shade with the light — in sunshine most of all.
Feet
Summer is pedicure season, and the reason pedicure wraps exist. Glittered Turquoise is the beach colour; Orange and Red are the classics; Multicolour puts a different colour on every toe. They last up to four weeks — a whole holiday — and you put your shoes on straight after the lamp.
At the sea and the pool
Water does not lift a properly bonded wrap: you can swim, sit in the bath, shower ten times a day. What shortens their life in summer is two things: sand getting into your sandals and rubbing the edge day after day, and oily beach lotions at application time — the nail has to be degreased right before the wrap, not greased. After the beach, rinse hands and feet in clean water and dry them. If you are on the sand daily, count on three weeks on feet rather than four.
Colour and tan
Tanned skin is warmer than winter skin, so warm colours — orange, coral, gold — sit even better, and full white becomes the strongest contrast on the hand. If your undertone is cool and you tan little, turquoise and deep pink remain the safe choices.
In the suitcase
- One set of wraps for hands and one pedicure set, applied the evening before you leave.
- The leftover wraps in their sleeve, for a finger redone if needed — and the stick, which is also the removal tool.
- A small bottle of cuticle oil. Sun and salt water dry the skin at the base of the nail faster than anything.

Summer questions
Do they survive sea water?
Yes. Neither salt water nor chlorine lifts a properly bonded wrap. Sand and strong soap, daily, are what wear the edge — rinse and dry after the beach.
Can I put on sunscreen with wraps on?
Yes, without a thought — cured gel absorbs nothing. The only moment cream gets in the way is application: the nail has to be degreased right before the wrap.
Do I take the lamp on holiday?
No need, if you apply the evening before you leave: wraps hold 2–3 weeks on hands and up to 4 on feet. Take the stick and the cuticle oil — for removal you need no lamp, and for a redone finger only if you lay a new wrap.
